Andy began his career behind the scenes as a live sound engineer, mastering the art of sound in real time before transitioning into audio post-production at Silk Sound, where he honed his craft on award-winning radio campaigns, compelling TV documentaries and an entire series of The Crystal Maze.
Andy became one of the first cinema mix specialists in the advertising world, helping to define how sound enhances storytelling on the big screen.
He then spent 16 years at 750mph, rising to Board Director and Senior Sound Designer and collaborating with some of the industry’s most iconic directors and brands. During this period Andy’s work was recognised with major honours, including the British Arrows Ad of the Year award for T-Mobile’s “Dance” for Saatchi & Saatchi.
In 2019 Andy took the helm as Head of Sound Design at Bark Soho, where he led the boutique audio post house to new creative heights, expanding its presence and reputation among top agencies and filmmakers.
In 2023 Andy stepped into his current role as Head of Sound at Nomad London, leading its state-of-the-art sound department at their nose to tail studio in Borough. Under his leadership, Nomad’s audio facilities, complete with cutting-edge surround sound suites, now stand shoulder to shoulder with the world’s best post houses.
