To be eligible for consideration for a Music+Sound Award in any of the following categories (except Rising Star categories – see below), your work submitted must have been first broadcast or released with client approval, or completed in the case of short films, between July 1st 2024 and June 30th 2025.

Original compositions created specifically for a commissioned project officially broadcast / released in ANY medium between 30th June 2022 and now (the usual eligibility window does not apply to this category). More than one project can be included but the total length of video submitted should be no longer than 5 minutes. To qualify for this category the entrant should have been active in our industries for no more than 3 years, as of the end of June 2025. Therefore, their first commissioned piece of work must have been broadcast / released after 30th June 2022.
