“The film breaks the stigma around the experience of periods and tracks the internal and external journeys of a group of individuals having a parallel night.

Using a thermal camera to depict and represent menstruation, the film is a raw and unique look into what is happening all of the time.

For this project, we were responsible for the soundtrack for this amazing piece of work, giving us the unique window into some women's experience in menstruation. The idea was to find and create a unifying lyric and dynamic track that can help the viewer to be as immersed as possible in this experience.

The brief was quite open but with lots of pointers to give a combination of emotional and narrative guidance to help us find the right solution, including helping the audience have some emotional narrative guidance.

Through the creative process, we journeyed from very beautiful and serene music to discovering this feeling of the underground; up all night, deep deep inside. This lyric and incessant and dynamic range shines a light onto the internal experience of the body. Remixing and reworking this piece of music allowed us to journey through individual characters as well as share a collective experience as the music and the picture dance together through the night.”
