The first brand in the financial sector to go global with their Sonic Identity, Mastercard’s Sonic DNA is heard across platforms. Now Mastercard is taking sonic branding to a new frontier, making a game-changing impact on the music industry. Mastercard and Puerto Rican Urban-Pop duo Domino Saints collaborated to make music together. While not the first instance of a brand x artist collaboration, Mastercard is the first brand to share their Sonic DNA with an established artist, growing and expanding their shared presence. Instead of promoting existing popular music or coming together to make a “brand song”, MC and DS leveraged the MC Sonic DNA to create new music, driving popular culture on a global stage. While heard in Mastercard commercials worldwide, Domino Saints' “Rockstar” became the anthem of the ‘22 Copa America Feminina and was performed at the ‘23 UEFA Champions League final. The success of this creative collaboration led to the production and release of the Priceless Album, a result of Mastercard sharing their Sonic DNA with the wider music community.
